Rogue
A dungeon crawler game. It’s the begin of rogue-like games.
There are many versions of Rogue. The Debian repository contains the source code for version 5.3. The Roguelike Restoration Project contains the source code for several versions including version 5.4. In addition, the Roguelike Restoration Project also provides compiled versions of Rogue for modern platforms.
Here we focus on version 5.4 from the Roguelike Restoration Project (both the binaries and the source codes).
If you use Linux system based on Debian, you can also install Rogue by:
sudo apt install bsdgames-nonfree
and launch Rogue by:
rogue
